Understanding Diabetic Retinopathy
Diabetic retinopathy is the primary eye health concern for patients with diabetes. Diabetic retinopathy develops when the blood vessels in the retina are damaged, and usually, it affects vision in both eyes.
Initial symptoms of diabetic retinopathy can be difficult to notice as they develop over time. Common signs and symptoms of diabetic retinopathy include:
